Since I was a little girl, I have always been fascinated with photography. I used to collect old Kodak Brownie cameras. I was amazed at how such a seemingly simple box, could produce an image that could invoke a multitude of emotions, by “just” aiming and pressing the shutter button. Creating art has always had a place in my heart. Whether it’s drawing, writing poetry, singing and participating in theatrical productions, or photography, my life would not be complete without art. Life, as we all know, sometimes gets in the way of pursuing our passions, and mine is no different. Higher education and career development were my guiding forces for so many years, I seemed to have lost sight of creating the art that brought me so much pleasure and fulfillment in my childhood. So, over five years ago, I decided it was time to pick up a camera and pursue a new passion. I can tell you with total certainty it is one of the best decisions I have made in a very long time. I love capturing moments in people’s lives that mean something to them. I am honored that they have chosen to share these special memories with me. Portraits, when done properly, are intimate glimpses into a person’s soul. It is not a task I take lightly, as I want to ensure we create authentic emotions for you to treasure for a lifetime. Timeless.
